I cancelled my number on 10th December 2016. Now I called the number and it is definitely ture that it is already a non-existent number. [Removed] But why did I still receive an email saying "Your bill is ready" on 20th December 2016?!?!?! How is there a bill while I don't have a number?

Hi @Yuteng
When you cancel a contract, you will receive two further bills. One will be the bill for the month which may contain a credit for line rental paid in advance and a final and last bill with a 0.00 balance as your confirmation there is nothing further owed and you have no further responsibility towards the contract and payments.
Until you receive this bill, it is very important not to cancel the direct debit, if the arrangement is cancelled too early, it will leave Vodafone without an account to take any owed money or repay a credit.

Hi,
Vodafone require 30 days notice or you use a PAC Code to move your number to a new network and then They'll start Contract cease proceedings and send you the final bill by post followed by a Sorry your Leaving Letter and £0 bill which confirms its all cancelled and paid up.
This is the Help and Support pages.
