Why is it so difficult to change my delivery address?

Hi,

I have now, reluctantly, accepted the fact that I will recieve my phone sometime in the future but trying to find out when is going to be futile. 

 

However, when it does eventually enter the dispatch process I want it sent to my work address and not my home address.  I have already taken one day off work to wait in for a delivery that was never going to happen and am not taking another one.

 

When I have spoken to Vodafone on multiple occasions both over the phone and via live chat, they have said that they can't change the address until it is with DPD but this is not what I want as they are obviously going to use DPD's own redirection service (that I could do myself) and which will add a further 48 hours or more on to the already late delivery.

 

All I want to do is give you an address and that is where your warehouse will send the phone....not what I'd call rocket science.

 

I would appreciate a PM from the forum team to assist with this as am not having any luck with the other methods to contact vodafone.

Customer service is an alien concept to Vodafone... Even contacting them is hard enough, presumably they know their service is ##~## so they hide behind crap (and useless) FAQ's and screens that constantly say 'all our operators (both of them??) are busy, please go screw yourself'. Can't wait for my contract to end and saying GO AWAY! Doubt the other muppets are any better though...
