I have a Samsung galaxy s6 I'd like to know does anyone else have a problem with phone calls just dropping off mid conversation?? im absolutely sick of it.

Hi there
I have the S6 Edge and certainly don't have the issues you describe.
If you are experiencing network issues, the first thing to do is go through the steps in the Network Troubleshooting Guide which will guide you through the process of checking for faults in your area and also trying to narrow down where the problem is.
If these steps don't sort out the problem, please could you copy and paste the template back here and enter your results that the eForum Team can look into the issue for you. Provide as much information as possible to assist the Team with their investigations.

I also got the same problem, but my call dropps after every 40 minutes and this happens everywhere. I have changed 3 diffrent phones (same model S6 Edge) but with the same problem.

I too have the exact same problem, the worst one was when it dropped during a call to Emergency services, I was absolutely livid about it after having warned Vodafone's pathetic customer service advisors about it. I eventually got my S6 exchanged for another S6 but same problem remains even with new firmware. No choice but to send a letter to head office now as the device is not fit for purpose.

I have an S6 Edge and haven't experienced the drop out you're describing even whilst I am driving and therefore changing transmitters.
Perhaps there is an issue in the area - that can't be ruled out. Have you been through the steps in the Network Troubleshooting Guide at any point?

I was told at one point by Vodafone CS that the calls were dropping because of scheduled maintanence in my area, even though this has been happening in various different locations in different cities.

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service? Everywhere
2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? N/A
3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
Not tried, but this is the second SIM with a second handset of the same model
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
Phone drops call even when network signal full and then loses network connection. Data problem as well when displaying full signal, does not connect to any data until I restart my phone.
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?
3G and 4G, my phone doesn't often go to 2G
6) When did you first notice this issue?
Since the first call dropped after purchasing this handset
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?
