I'm off to Majorca and was wondering if it's possible to take the R201 with me and just purchase a Vodafone Spain SIM card, pop it into the R201 and use it at local rates rather than roaming rates ?

Thanks, would it still need unlocking to take a Vodafone ES Sim card ?  Just that it's a WifiR201 provided by my employer under a corporate contract, not sure they'd want me messing about unlocking it.

Not to worry if it can't be done, i've got an old '3' network MiFi device that is unlocked, will just need to mess about with the config on it to get it to work with the vodafone sim - was looking for an easier way if possible.

Hi martynh99

Thank you for your post and your swift response.

Although Voadafone UK and Vodafone Espanyol are under the same global umbrella they are run as two separate entities and a NUC would still be required.

Many Thanks
