Win7 "searching For Network"

So I bit the bullet and upgraded to Win7 yesterday.

Everything works as expected, except for my mobile broadband. I have a Dell 5520 card, I've downloaded the latest drivers from Dell, but all I get from either the Dell connection manager or VMC is "Searching for network".

Has anyone else tried this yet, or gotten it to work?

Ah, I take it all back. It's working today. Kind of.

What was weird was yesterday, even when no connection was shown if I manually dialed the connection it worked.

Today I have a 3G connection found. Woohoo

Well that's no fun!! At least it could have waited for me to arrive and weave some Windows 7 magic, especially since i think it's the best thing Microsoft has done this decade,
