Windows Mail (vista) And Vodafone Mobile Broadband

Hi,

I recieved a Vodafone dongle with mobile broadband, and have been trying to set up my Windows Mail with said internet connection (I am a Windows Vista user).

I have already done so successfully with a '3' dongle, and have been using it for the last 10 months.

I am trying to configure the Windows Mail account using an xtrahost email account which I use for my business). The vodafone dongle will not send messages at all (though I can get it to recieve mail). Does anyone have any advice on the configuration settings?

Atm, I have:
SMTP as send.vodafone.net
Connection as Vodafone Mobile Connect
Outgoing mail port as 25

Please post any advice - I've been fighting with this for four hours!

Hi Esstta,

Can you tell us what error messages you're getting when trying to send emails? Do the emails stay in the outbox?

If you can talk us through what happens step-by-step when you re-create the issue, it'll give us a clearer picture of where things might be going wrong
