I just thought I would let you know that I have just upgraded a broadband line to fibre and the suresignal (v1) worked straight away, with no tweaks, kicking, or port forwarding required.
The router is the ISP (plusnet) supplied Technicolor TG582n + BT installed modem
So there are devices out there that work without fuss on the new high speed lines.
