Hi
My mum recently transferred over to Vodafone broadband, however her laptop is now unable to download updates for her Windows Laptop , these include AV updates also.
The laptop will download when connected to my Vodafone broadband.
I've tried connecting it via an RJ45, even though it can see the updates and can still access webpages etc, there appears to be an ACL or something blocking the access.
Mum is using the same model of Vodafone router (checked and compared against my Vodafone Router) as myself and I've reset the router twice so far and even turned of the Router's firewall (temp just incase it was the router's firewall settings).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
There shouldn't be anything stopping an update scenario as far as I'm aware.
I would suggest speaking with Vodafone Broadband Tech on...

that's exactly what I thought.
Though sounds like they've an ACL being applied
