After a long and painful chat with online support i have discovered that after signing up for the 76meg package my line will only support a max of 39meg the dire CS agent could not grasp why i was unhappy that i was only getting 1 meg above thier 2nd tier package so my question is has anyone manage to downgrade their broadband package without any penalties i am currently on day 10 of my contract and i dont give a stuff about the free gift if it means i have to cancel and before anyone says it i know 76meg is the absolute max you could expect but i would have been happy with a least 50ish meg.
