galaxy s6 5.1.1 update parallax effect does not work anymore!! furious

just bought a new s6 64gb from vodafone on my upgrade, I got the phone and was told it needs a software update. so I did this and now the parallax background wallpaper effect no longer works. if i go to wallpaper and make sure the effect is ticked and choose a wallpaper, the effect no longer exists on the homescreen. i've tried factory resetting, but the same issue. could someone please provide me with an update to fix this

here are alot of threads on the problem, apparently a second 5.1.1 update fixed the "bug", could a vodafone member of staff please advise further

May I Welcome you to the Vodafone eforum. 

From past threads and discussions it's known that Vodafone do not provide prior information on firmware so  and roll outs on their Firmware for branded handsets.

So why isn't the parallax working if Vodafone test it accordingly? It works if I install a 3rd party parallax app but it should work right after the update. Is there another 5.1.1 revised update due?

Hi

The link you added in your opening post leads to people I think who are having similar issues who are not possibly on the Vodafone Uk Network,so this may not be the case of Vodafone changing the firmware causing the issue. 

I do not know of upcoming updates and as I mentioned Vodafone won't mention for reasons as stated in their Firmware Statement. It would be a case of checking the software update section in your phones settings.  

You could also speak to Samsung Uk Support too to put across your thoughts on the situation and to see what they say.
