how long till my upgrade connects to get service?

Recently recieved my iphone 6 in the post yesturday and had a really smooth set up through icloud/ itunes, i went from an 4s so was gven a new sim card to insert. 

Im still waiting for it to connect ive had no service at all so cant use my phone only wifi works, how longs does it take to be complete?

no.. i assumed it was ready to go! even on the sim it said it was! will do that now thank you!

You're welcome.  Basically the SIM card is shipped in an inactive state for security reasons, once you get it, you have to activate it for your number to move across.  If you have any issues, pop into your local Vodafone store and they will help you and can usually have you up and running pretty quickly.  LiveChat will also be able to help you.
