Hi I've had a Sure Signal (3 light version) for over a year. My blackberry connects to this fine. My wife just bought an iPhone 4S, I've registered the number but it does not connect to SS. I've reset the SS and phone but without any luck. ive  searched the forum but can't find the solution.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Cjwilson,

Just in case the information hasn't made it from our system to the Sure Signal, I've performed a resync at this end for you.

Can you try another reset to make sure this picks up for me?

Hi

My wife has just changed her BB for an iphone 4s and kept her previous number.  We have 2 SS boxes.  On one box both our phones connect with no problems whilst the other is working fine with my BB still but not with my wife's as she is not picking up a signal.  Her phone is 3G enabled and i have deleted her as a registered user and re-registered her as advised in other threads.  Can you advise what can be done next please?

Hi there saun0017,

Could I take the VSS serial number that's causing you touble please?

Cheers,

LeeH

Hi again,

I can see you've posted your serial number here.

Can I ask that you keep your query to one thread?

Thanks,

LeeH

Hi Vodafone,

Can you check out SS 40123560951. Two numbers ending in 810 and 546 are working fine but recently added number ending in 887. This was a Vodafone number on Blackberry 2G and transferred to new iPhone 4s. Been on to Voda and they said they had done a resync but still nothing.

Thanks

Hello WindHillRuss,

Thanks for your post.

I've forced another resync for you. Please could you factory reset the VSS and let me know if you need anything else?

Cheers,

LeeH

I'm having the same problem. My Sure Signal arrived on January 3rd but I still can't get it to work a month later having followed the various tips and tricks. I've rebooted; de-registered and registered again; contacted support who sent me through a one page word document on ports that I didn't understand. The correct lights are showing on the SureSignal but it is not being picked up by my phone.

My iPhone 4S works fine outside the house and receives a 3G signal. Indoors there is a 'black spot' and reception is poor, hence the Sure Signal.

The phone is connected to my WIFI. I have 60Mb broadband through Virgin Media. It uses the latest wireless-n  router. The serial number is 40133487500.

Is there a known problem with iPhone 4S or Virgin Media wireless?? If not can anyone help?

Hi genga68,

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Cheers, Ben
