Hi,
My sure signal serial is 40113851659
I have been using an iPhone 4 and have upgraded to an iPhone 5. In the process, I've moved my number to and activated a new Nano SIM.
This Nano SIM doesn't seem to be registering with my sure signal (despite picking up 'normal' Vodafone signal without a problem).
How do I fix this?
Thanks,

Time.
something must have woken up overnight because it was using the sure signal this morning (5.30am) and continues to work fine. I guess something just needed some time to update.

Hi guys,
jaytobe - Great to hear this is sorted. Let us know if you need any help in future.
-------------------------------
gpr123 - Can you confirm for me if you're able to connect to the Sure Signal with any other handsets?
Also, do you see any change to the light sequence on the Sure Signal when you try to use the iPhone 5?
Finally for now, have you tried removing and re-adding the number for the iPhone 5 from the Sure Signal? If the number is the owner, you just need to transfer the ownership to another number whilst you do this.

Hi Dave.
We can connect to sure signal using my daughters phone the one ending 6241, when we use this phone the lights on the S.S. all light up. When we try to use the iPhone5 ending 8312 Orr my wife's phone ending 2901, the 3 lights on the S.S. light up but the little mobile icon light does not even flicker?.
i could not log onto the S.S. website today to take out the main number (ending 8312) and re enter it, so rang Vodafone athe explained the problem and they actually took out the number and re entered it for me, told me twait it at least one hour and then reset the S.S. unit by holding down button wait for lights, take out power reinsert power wait for light etc, I did this at about 1600 this afternoon, but at present I still have no signal no the iPhone 5 ending 8312.
The number ending 8312 is the owner of the S.S, did not actually remove it myself cause could not get onto the site this afternoon but the guy at Vodafonevsaid the tech department had done it??
back to you Dave
thanks

Hi shane12345
Thanks for letting us know that this now appears to be sorted for you, that's great news
Hi gpr123
Thanks for your reply. I'm not convinced that your number would have been removed as the owner otherwise it would mean the VSS would have needed to be de-registered and then re-registered again or the owner switched as Dave has earlier referred to.
We have come across this before where customers switch SIM cards and as you've upgraded to an iPhone 5 this will have also meant a switch to a Nano SIM. If you're able to access the Sure Signal dashboard via My Account then I would recommend de-registering the VSS, waiting 24 hours and then re-registering. If you're not able to do this then contact us via the details I've sent across in a private message and we'll be able to do it for you.
You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon
thanks for your reply.
we don't seem to be having much luck, I have just tried 3 times to send you the query as you suggested in your P.M. To me, I have filled out the form and put all the info in as you requested and as soon as you press next the system seems to lock up so I don't know if you uhavreceived the email query or not???.
can you let me know please.
if not please just get on and De-register and Re-register as you need. If its permission you need you have now got it.
thanks

Hi gpr123,
We have to confirm additional security on the account before we can access the system to de-register the Sure Signal. This isn't something we can take in a public forum I'm afraid and so would need to details requested in the contact form.
I'm pleased to say that we have received your email though and the reference number is 10625252. We'll be in touch with you as soon as we can.
Thanks,
Phil
