iPhone rotation lock

Hey

I've just got my first iPhone in a few years and I can't find for the life of me, how to swap the mute button for screen rotation lock. This used to be possible and I'll be very sad if the option has gone.

That's an interesting one, I can't recall ever seeing that option in any of my previous iPhones (3GS, 4S). 

I've just spent a good ten minutes going through the current settings (iPhone 6 Plus) as well and can't find any options.

The only way I can think of is if the phone was jailbroken maybe?

AFAIAA that option has never been available on an iPhone, on the iPad yes.

As suggested maybe the phone you had that option on was jailbroken.
