iPhones - call fails regularly, and poor quality calls

I now have 4 iPhones connected to my suresignal (Serial No. 21196783068), and find it impossible to make, or receive calls that I can actually hear.  What seems to happen is that a call will connect as 3G for a while, and then the phone reverts to GSM, of which there is almost none, hence the suresignal.  I noticed this behaviour when I had my Blackberry too, and this was better at telling me what was going on, as opposed to an iPhone that doesn't.

 

I am now near my wits end, as I have failed to hear conversations during two important calls this morning, and my only option appears to be to move to O2, which seems to have plenty of coverage where I live.

 

Any assistance gratefully received 🙂

 

P.S. I have been through all of the suggestions on this site to no avail.

Hi Kay, I've sent a PM.

I'm tempted to go to my local vodafone store and buy the latest Suresignal, but I need to know that it will work.

Now getting desperate!

It should work but we can’t guarantee it due to the amount of different routers, internet providers, IP ranges and setups out there.

I sent a PM, via the route that Kay posted, but the response was that my phone's faulty (all of them!), and can I take them into a Vodafone store!

 

Are there any logs that the Suresignal produces, that can be accessed by me?

It’s very unlikely that all your phones are faulty, I agree.

 

I’ve noticed that your upload speed is only 0.55Mbps, do you have other devices that share this connection?

 

If you do, can you remove them and see if the call quality/signal quality improves?

 

The Sure Signal needs a minimum of 0.3Mbps to work correctly and if there are other connected devices, they may drop the upload speed below that threshold.

 

Did you get chance to try your Sure Signal in a different location? If not, can you give it a go please?

 

If the Sure Signal works in this new location, it would mean that there’s something in your current set up that’s preventing it working correctly.

 

If it doesn’t work, then it may indicate that the unit is faulty. As it’s a version 1, it’s no longer covered by warranty. We can repair it for you at a cost of £65 or you may wish to buy a new version either online or in store for £100.

Sorry for the delay in responding.  If buying a new suresignal is the only option, then it will be cheaper for me to move networks, as my renewal date is next week.  IMHO, I shouldn't have to pay to overcome limitations in Vodafone's coverage, let alone have to pay again to repair it.
