iphone6 (4G phones too?) users: if you have the correct light sequence but no phone signal:

iphone6 users please note if you have the correct light sequence but no phone signal: during my previous issue with my sure signal i discovered, after a few days, that the Vodafone Sure Signal 1/2/3 only supports 3G NOT 4G so you need to make sure your phone is set to only use 3G (settings>mobile data>voice and data>3G). So if you have the correct lights and your unit is working properly you will only get a phone signal from it when your phone is set to 3G. If you have a 4G plan this is now useless or you will have to switch it to 4G every time you leave the house/ and to 3G every time you return to the house!

On our iphone 5 this isnt neccessary for some reason.

I've heard this before but it isn't true.

I have 3 iphones in the house with a SS3 and they work fine without being switched to 3G. Two are 6S phones and a 5S. Before this I had a 6 and that worked fine as well.

I thought it very unlikely at the time but I promise you thats exactly what i was told on here by the vodafone rep in August, which i thought was strange that you have to change it to/from 3G to use the sure signal at home! Thats the only way it works for our two iphone 6's by the way. Ive looked at the iphones mobile data settings and it only has the option of 3G or 4G not both. Any idea how you did it?

Anyone else know? Cheers.

I didn't do anything. The phones have always worked with the Sure Signal. I never change the settings.
