Hello: I'm from Portugal and bought iphone 8 vodafone uk on Ebay.
  My network is vodafone Portugal. I inserted sim card vodafone Portugal and it does not work. I need you to unlock to work on vodafone Portugal number fhone 918647213..Thanks

Hi @rumar

Even though they share the same Vodafone Brand name they are not linked. 

Vodafone UK can only unlock a phone for a customer on their UK Network. 

Your options are...

1. Ask the original owner to request its unlock. 

2. Come to the UK and use the iPhone on the Vodafone UK Network for 30 days making calls etc using a Payg SIM card and use the new Payg details to request its unlock. Vodafone UK wont post a Payg SIM card abroad and it needs to be used on the Vodafone UK Network anyway. 

3. Send the iPhone to someone you know in the UK for them to carry out option 2 and then post it back to you. 

4. Check the eBay listing to see if it was listed as unlocked. If it states its on Vodafone UK then they've listed it correctky.

5. Sell the iPhone and buy one that works on your network. 

6. Try a highstreet store who advertises they unlock iPhone's.
