new VSS seems operational but does not boost 3G signal

Hello,

I've had a VSS for a little over two years, and it has worked fine. Recently, the device stopped working -- no lights at all -- and as it was outside guarantee I have bought a new one. I have registered the new v3 device, and connected it. It now has the solid red power light and the first two solid white lights. But 48 hours on and it is not boosting the signal in my house. I am down to a single bar, as before I had my original VSS, and the final light doesn't come on when I attempt to make a call.

How can I get the device to work?

Thanks for your efforts so far on this Z. Yes, my number ends 65. I still have the two white solid lights and still no sign of it working: ie no boost in signal and the last light doesn't come on when I try and make a call. I have the phone set to 3G only.

It was still showing as deregistered

I've reregistered the unit to the the number ending 65 to the postcode ending 0PE, you should get a text confirming and once the unit has done a profile update and reboot, hopefully it should then work.

If the postcode should be different, you can use the change location on the front end menu on the web portal or let me know here if you're happy with that and I'll apply it. I've named it Sure Signal (with a space) as you have another unit already registered to that address.

If they are going to be at the same house, they need to be far enough apart so they don't interfere with each other

Thanks z. I have the text message. The other ss was the one that I originally had which suddenly stopped working. No sign of it working so far, but I'll give it a couple of hours.
