nfc icon missing

just noticed NFC Icon is missing from my S6. double checked and NFC is enabled and also working yet icon is not there next to clock any ideas

Try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off & On.

done that, not a major issue as i know nfc is working ok

Just checked on my S6 Edge, and when I turn on NFC, like yours, it works but there is no icon next to the clock.  I guess that Samsung didn't feel we needed it.

Hi, it just shows up on my Z3, not sure if there is anything in settings, personalisation, status bar icons that could help?

We don't have that menu option on the S6.

It's a great idea though 63johnw.  I reckon Samsung have been tinkering with things a bit too much.
