no sim card

Hey

i recently put my sim card into my razr phone and it worked....i made a call and sent a text message then after an hour or so i looked and there was a error message on the screen saying "no sim card"......im not quite sure why this happened.....i had previously been using a t-mobile sim in the phone and was wondering if that may be why...if anyone has any tips that would be great

If you managed to use the phone, that would tend to rule out its being network-locked.  There might be issues with MMS and data if you'd previously used a different network's SIM, but I'd expect calls and SMS to be OK.  You could try various things:

Take the SIM out, clean the contacts and put it back.

Reset the phone.

Get a replacement SIM and see if that works.

With luck, one of those will fix the issue.
