Hi,
I recenlty brought a galaxy S4 on vodafone and wanted to transfer my iphone number on O2 to my S4. So i get the pac number and give it to vodafone. I'm told that it'll be transfered today but i have to keep my phone off from 11 am to 4 pm. 4pm comes and i turn on my phone. In the vodaphone app i click my number and it comes up as my iphones number but i can't send or receive texts. Also i can make phone calls but it says conditional phoning activated or something like that and i can't receive phone calls at all. Also my iphone has no service now so i have no mobile phone what so ever. What do i do?

Just to let you know, the Team will respond to your question and ask you to reply to an email.
This will give them security clearance to access your account.
They can then investigate the issue for you.

A similar query about number porting came up recently. That seems to have sorted itself the following day. The process sometimes takes a little longer than anticipated.

I'm having the same problem today. After number transfer I can make outgoing calls but not recieve them and I have no texts or mobile data

Number porting takes place in stages so not all services will be working on the first day.
You need to turn the phone off and on a couple of times a day to refresh the network.
How many days is it since outgoing calls kicked in?

The number started porting today, although I did get a text saying it would finish today by 16:00.
I just got off the phone with support, after a lengthy wait (hence the forum post whilst I was waiting) and they concur with you. It sems to come across with no data allowance etc and then gets updated the following day. I've been advised to be patient and chill until tomorrow.
