phone showing wrong location since installing sure signal

Hi,

I would appreciate some help. Since installing Sure Signal (version 3) yesterday, my signal is now great but my location on maps weather etc is showing as somewhere several hundred miles away.

I have the same problem. My weather location says 'Cricklade' (near swindon) and I live in Devon.

Hi guys,

When using the Sure Signal rather than a standard cellsite, this is to be expected.

A normal cellsite emits a cell ID which is used for location services. The Sure Signal doesn't do this, so you're not getting that location identifier. It's not normally this extreme though.

Unfortunately it's down to how a Femtocell like this works.
