I recently purchased mobile broadband. I recieved the dongle and sim today and followed the steps to install it. It has all gone well, except a window pops up saying that i have to activate my sim before i am able to use the mobile broadband. I am also unable to recieve my own number as it is not displayed on the dongle box or any other items recieved, i am also unable to dial any numbers from the sim when put into an unlocked phone to retrieve my number such as *#100#. Please help

It has now been over 2 hours and still no reply, i have also spoken to your support by phone who was no help at all. They continued to keep transfering me to different departments but still was unable to resolve my problem. I would atleast like a reply which may be of any help. It's unacceptable.

Hi,LewisDearman I am not saying that this could be your problem but when I first got my mobile broadband I too received a message saying that the sim needed to be activated,which In my case I knew not to be true as I had already set It up on my other computer and It was working Perfectly.The problem turned out to be lack of signal,believe It or not but If you treat the dongle like a T.V aerial and put It on the extension lead and move It around to try and get a better signal,usually the higher the better next to a window If you are struggling with a low signal.The moderators are very busy and deal with posts In the order they received them,so I am sure they will not be long till they can help you out.

I've also sent you an email to the address you signed up with too so that I can make sure your SIM is registered properly
