Hi
Have you carried out any firmware updates recently as it's usually suggested to perform a Hard Reset after which gets rid of old code that can cause issues.
Sometimes turning the phone off and leave it for 5 minutes or so and turn it back in helps with glitches as it kind of refreshes the phone.
Check that you are on the latest firmware.
Also check your masts via
https://www.vodafone.co.uk/explore/network/uk-coverage-map/index.htm or any issues that may cause the problem with texts. Use the Zoom out function in the map to check for areas around you.
Of not then a Hard Reset can still help.
Be sure to create a backup as this will delete any data in your phones memory like pictures etc.
