samsung s3 mini updates for android wear

Does anyone know how I can get my android operating system upgraded to 4.3 or above here in the UK?

To update, please go into your ‘settings’ – ‘about phone’ and select the ‘software update.’

Hello Rodney, thanks for your reply. I have tried the software update on my phone, it just tells me it's all up to date! Is it possible that Samsung haven't released the appropriate update for android wear on the s3 mini?

A quick search around various news sources on Google from last year seems to suggest that the onboard ram of the S3 and S3 Mini sadly limited them to Android 4.1.2 in official build form. Samsung appears to have at one point planned a build of 4.4, but backed down at a later point.
