sure signal 1 light on not working

My sure signal has been slowly not giving me the strength of signal for a about a week or so but now it just has the top light on and nothing else.
I have reset it several times, reset my router. Unplugged it etc nothing is working now and I can't phone vodafone for help, catch 22

Thanks for your troubleshooting link.
I have already done most of that. I'm not spending £10 on a power supply that may or may not be the cause.
The light for the cable from my router is on.

For no reason at all my box is now working. It wasn't 10 minutes ago and I haven't touched it.
I was actually trying to use a laptop to get the information someone requested yesterday re Internet speeds and ip address but that comment along with a previous comment with a list of trouble shooting help have gone!?
Am I to presume the fault was not with my box and has been rectified and that's why the above have been removed??
Although they seem to have been removed before I had signal
