I had an account called steveliddle, then my login failed.
so made this one using the work's email address as even though I had cleared cookies with ccleaner, trying to use the account settings defaults to the old and non working steveliddle account.
Used to have EE until someone in the company thought it would be a great idea to have much poorer reception, less coverage by changing to vodafone.
Had to get a booster from the "support" company who have repeatedly failed to give me any help.
I can not log in to the device and all I get is
it is currently about as useful as a chocolate teapot and will probably be removed and dumped back in the box
I am using a dual sim cat phone and have my own virgin sim which is great as there have been so many times when I have no signal on the vodafone which is pretty much most of the time at home

If you’re having trouble logging into your My Vodafone account, to manage the Sure Signal, you’ll need to speak to our Live help team.

I did, seems I failed the security questions as the account in question is a single account for all of the company phones...
I have unplugged the sure signal as it is a waste of time me powering it when I have no access to it
the support company are useless, keep getting emails about me to the main contact when they know my email address and mobile phone number, mostly because it is part of my email signature. Apparently will be getting a call from them soon, and that was on the 7th.
I can reply to forum stuff, but when I try to log in to settings, it remembers the old email that I used for the steveliddle account which is webmail based. this account is on a different domain and has a different password and cookies have been cleared.
suspect the system recognises the phone number and defaults me to the non working account.
Yes, I can contact your help desk, they will then recommend that I contact my support company who will be not sure of my details and will probably try to contact me when driving.
I can contact them, but often the only person who can help is not around
so what do I think of vodafone ? will never have it as a personal sim....

finally got to log in and get the system to remember my password and not one of the plethora of possible passwords.
now seem to have 2 emails assoicated with the accounts as have steveliddle and steveliddle 2 working
just received a security code via text, apparently got 8 hours to enter it, but without being given a hint of where to enter it
Account settings: Unfortunately, your request cannot be processed.
Your device: Unfortunately this functionality is currently unavailable.
My real thoughts on vodafone are not repeatable on a public forum, if the profile had an "enter the verification code" it would be great, but that is expecting far too much for a help system

@steveliddle2 - The code should be a temporary password. You just need to enter your username followed by the code you’ve been sent to log in.

seems the sure signal is registered after repeating what I did yesterday
not a fan of leaving stuff powered like the pc which is turned off at night along with the phone, is there any problem with turning it off when not needed ?

It’s best to leave the Sure Signal on, like your Wi-Fi.
PC’s aren’t designed to run 24/7, whereas the Sure Signal is.

turned it off when I went away for the weekend, turned it back on this morning.
seems to be working ok, so since I am the only person who can use the boost, no reason to have it on when I am away.
