Solution

sure signal connection problem

Crossie10
4: Newbie

Hi, My sure signal has been working fine until about a month ago when I noticed that the lights sometimes went orange, a reset fixed this, now however the red light stays on and the first light slowly flashes for a few minutes and then goes out for a minute then starts slowly flashing as if it is trying to connect but failing, there are no orange lights displayed at all and I have re-set the sure signal and the router. it hasn't connected for over 36 hours now The ethernet cable works as I tested it on laptop, Any ideas?

Thanks

Paul

will send serial no soon

Hi Crossie10,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Your details look fine but the Sure Signal hasn’t connected to the server in a couple of days.

To try and get this connected, I’ve re-synced the Sure Signal today.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please can you try a reset and let us know how you get on.

Reset your Sure Signal:

-Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.

-Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.

-Once the lights come back on, release the button.

The Sure Signal will be back online in around 1 hour.

James
