trying to set up v1 - firmware probably needed?

I am hoping that someone can push the latest firmware for a v1 device to my unit. I am trying to set it up - have registered it to myvodafone account but it will not connect. I have rebooted and reset several times. At reset iI have only the power light - the 4th light (tick symbol) flashes for a couple of minutes and then does out. an hour + later still the same no sign on connecting. I assume that as the device has been inn the box for some months thaat the firmware is too old to connect. Hoping someone at vodafone can help? Mac address is showing as connected in router admin.

If it's been dormant for a while this maybe applicable. 

 

What-if-I-need-more-help-with-my-Sure-Signal.

 

"If you haven’t used your Sure Signal for 3 months, we may have put a bar on it. Call us on 191 free from your Vodafone phone and we’ll remove it
If you have not used your Sure Signal for 12 months we will automatically de-register your device. After this point it will not be possible to re activate this on our network."

Thank you band of brothers. However this appear not to be the case. The device shows as active on my account. Furthermore Vodafone support have re-synced the box (assuring me that it would then work)  - alas not the case. The box has the first (power) light on solidly and then the second light (@) flashes slowly and has been doing so for over 48 hours.

This Sure Signal hasn't connected since 1 November 2014. 

 

We only have so many licenses for the Sure Signals and we recycle them when they haven't been used for 12 months. This one has been disconnected and you'll need to purchase a new one.
