unable to turn on samsung galaxy s6 edge after software update

hi please can anybody help just did a software update at 9am and my phone still wont turn on its just showing the samsung logo in the middle of screen i cant do anything with it wont turn off or on surely it shouldnt take this long to complete update? please help

Hi

 

Did you note what the update was and was it from the software update settings in your phone. 

 

i would suggest speaking to Samsung UK Support via http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/ They will be able to confirm timeframes and suggest options such as hooking upto a computer with a particular Pc suite. 

 

You could try a soft reset. 

 

Press and hold the “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons for about 10 seconds until the device powers off.
