unlimited wifi with mobile broadband - how?

Can someone here explain the unlmited wifi which is offered with mobile broadband please? This turned out to be, at best, 'misleading' when I was last using mbb with Vodafone, but as it is still being advertised I'm wondering if it's actually now been implemented.

Could you explain clearly how it is used?

I remember seeing among the folders and files from the Vodafone software a mention of BTOpenZone so I wondered if it's that. There is a BTFon hotspot where I am which I have paid to use before on the BTOpenZone website.

Or is the offer completely false? (And then, why is it advertised?)

The offer isn't tucked hidden away anywhere. If I try to top up for pay as you go mobile broadband with Vodafone, (I use a Vodafone/Huawei dongle bought in one of your shops) whichever option you choose, 250mb, 1gb, 2gb etc, it says this amount of mb or gb and the price and then it says in the box for each option free unlimited wifi is included. So I'd like to know exactly how to use this free wifi facility or whether it's a mistake that has been repeated on your website for over a year.
