If Vodafone designers read this, please put a longer cable on your ADSL router power supplies. My nearest power supply is about 6 feet from where the router needs to live and your cable simply isn't long enough.

"Your old broadband equipment
Please help us to do our bit to reduce electrical waste by recycling your old broadband equipment.
Simply drop it off to your nearest Vodafone store - or click here to generate a Royal Mail label (print at home) or DHL QR code that can be used locally at supporting stores. Follow the steps to get everything back to us."
So no threats, and it's gone to the recycling devision at Ingram Micro.
*However*
I've today had an eMail telling me I can get 12 months of Norton Antivirus all I have to do is go to the (verified it's genuine) Norton Website using the special link and enter my order number from my order confirmation email! Errr.... Upto now my leaving had been going sooo smoothly, but I have bad feelings about this now!

As you are now on BT, I think you can stop worrying about Vodafone completely. (but do keep an eye on your DD's, just in case)

Hi
Perhaps not meant for me as I have just moved over to Vodafone. I did have BT a few times over years and always regretted it. Happily not a BT customer ever again!

To be fair, unless you live in Kingston On Hull, when you use an xDSL connection in the UK you'll be using Openreach. So for most users, it's going to come down to support and cost. If you've moved to VF from BT don't expect customer support to be any kind of improvement.
On the install here the only weird moment was the engineer saying the speeds could take a few hours to settle in and improve - when the initial test straight off came in at 900+ Mbps

Sorry I was referring to the previous post to mine (by @CrimsonLiar).
By convention, if you don't quote a post, you are replying to the previous post. At least that is the convention I use.
Sorry if confused you.
