Average time from order to equipment delivery/activation?

Does anyone have any info on how long it might take from order to a new router (for fibre 2) being delivered and then activation? Currently without broadband, relying on mobile data which is getting perilously close to being used up and trying to plan how much data bolt on to purchase! Order was placed 5 Jan but no updates on the tracker so far. I seem to recall the customer services person indicating it might be around the 23rd for go live but was hoping things would be rather sooner than that. Thanks in advance

Hi @Optimistico. It's disappointing to hear that you're currently without a broadband connection. We completely understand the importance of keeping connected online at home, especially when you're so close to using up all of your mobile data allowance. 

As we don't have account access via the Community, I would recommend getting in touch with our Social Media team so that we can take a closer look into both your hub delivery and activation date.

Please note that your activation date cannot be pushed forward. Unless you've asked for a later date, our system will automatically give us the earliest available activation date.

When you say Fibre 2 I presume you mean Superfast 2 FTTC and that you previously had a FTTC service. If FTTP likewise you have previously had a FTTP service so have a fibre modem.

The router is normally delivered a less than a week before the activation date after Vodafone & Openreach ( or City Fibre I guess if FTTP and they are your area provider ) have confirmed the connection settings.

Don't try and change the activation date. At best it will go later and the risk of issues with activation not happening.
