Hi,
I have a bit of a bizarre one here, that I haven't found anything on the web to cross-reference with. My broadband drops once every five days within a particular ten-minute window, effectively at the same time of day each time. Here is the log I have been keeping in my notes:
I believe the beginning of this issue coincided with when an Openreach man changed our cables around after a front door installer cut our existing line. I can't say our connection has been behaving in any other different ways besides this cut-out every five days. When it happens, the Internet light on our router goes red, and then within a minute or two reboots by itself and all is well again. So, it's not a huge issue, but an annoying more and, moreover, a bizarre one. So any ideas at all as to what might cause something like this would be appreciated. I admit that I'm not sure it has anything to do with Vodafone in particular, but I don't know where else to ask, and we are with Vodafone (65mbps fiber package I believe, using the router that Vodafone sent), so here I am.

@Cynricthe router is the standard Vodafone Hub I guess; I don't know the firmware, how would I check it? We set it up summer '21 and haven't done any manual updates.

@jamesbarry17 The firmware is shown in the "system" page (from memory, I don't used the THG3000 router) and you should see something like this;
What I suspect is happening is that VF are trying to push an update down the wire to you, unless there's something in your property on a timer that's causing an interruption.

Assuming you have the THG3000, you can see the firmware version under System - About. It's also on the bottom of every page in the router settings.
The above is mine, and AFAIK is the latest.
