Hi there
I have received my new Vodafone hub today, installed it the best I could and want to make sure that what I've done is correct.
I have this kind of BT Openreach ONT:
I kept plugged the existing Lan/WAN end from the old BT broadband provider (red end) and plugged the other end into the new Vodafone Hub blue WAN port. The power cable is on, the lights for 1, 2 and 5 are a white stable light but not internet connection yet. The phone and mobile lights (3 and 4) are off.
Is this what I was supposed to do? Now Do I only have to wait for 24 hours to be connected?
Thanks,
Carmina

Sounds like you have made all the correct connections.
Had the old BT service already finished? The Vodafone hub will usually arrive a few days before the service starts, what day were you given for connection?
Are you on Pro, with the 4G backup?

Hi Jayach
Thanks for your reply. I have a Full Fibre 100.
The connection date is today. I have installed it around 12:00 pm. It still says 'No internet connection' when I check it on my phone.
I'm using the old BT at the moment.

I would expect the BT service to stop when the Vodafone one goes live, although it's possible with FTTP they could both be live on the same fibre. (they use different VLANs)
If it's still not live tomorrow, try contacting them. Quickest way would probably be live chat.

Your picture hasn't been moderated yet, but on some of the older ONT's the Vodafone service is sometimes delivered on a different port to BT. Best to check if they believe it has gone live before trying swapping cables around.
