Devices not attaching to 6Ghz connection

Hi

I have premium broadband, with a booster. This service should enable applicable newer devices to connect to 6ghz, however, on reviewing my connected devices on my hub, nothing is connecting to 6ghz.

My phone & laptop are 6ghz enabled, and i have them connected to the premium wi-fi option (as i've put on compatibility mode?

I should add at the moment my laptop and phone are in my office (outside the house), where my booster is. Is the booster capable of providing 6ghz? Or is it only from the main hub?

All the best

Andy

I'm not entirely sure, but I thought compatibility mode turns off the 6Ghz.

Heya

Compatibility mode adds a new wifi network called "premium" which is 6ghz enabled. Older devices can join the previous wi fi network

Thank you, I've not got the new ultra router as I'm still on Fibre 2, I obviously misunderstood something I read before.

Assuming the devices you have are WiFi 6e devices, confusingly WiFi 6 (AX) is only 2.4GHz and 5GHz!
