Hi, I just received my gigabox and trying to hook it up to my playstation 4, it appears I've been stuck with a Nat Type 3, I've tried all the usually things like port forwarding and static IP, upon research I've seen plenty of others with this same problem with Vodaphone yet not a problem on 3, as I'm still within my timeframe to return the product I'd like to know if there will be a fix for this? I believe public ips are what is needed but according to other threads Vodaphone don't do this (yes I've changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) is this something that is going to be addressed or should I just cancel now as paying 50 pound a month for restricted gaming is far too much for me.
Any help that would be appreciated.
Thanks!

@Vodafone over 3000 people have now viewed this thread, I don't think they are just looking for an interesting read. Clearly this is a massive issue that has gone on long enough are you going to escalate this?

How much teeth will this escalation have? Thought I would include a link to a photo of my daily gaming experience which is beyond frustrating, you really shouldn't keep people locked into a contract if something isnt fit for purpose.

@Vodafone it's now been over a week since you escalated this issue, please can we be updated?
Additionally will you be allowing those of us who have been posting about this for in excess of 8 weeks out of our contracts? The Ofcom criteria is to give a carrier 8 weeks to resolve a problem which I think we can all agree has been vastly exceeded. If your not willing to do that then please can you DM myself and anybody else on here that has complained in excess of 8 weeks a deadlock letter if they ask for one?

Can we have an update to the escalation please, my sons and I can no longer game together since joining Vodafone and I've waited best part of 6 months for a resolution or update. We now have two broadband contracts one with Vodafone where we get good speeds and one with our landline BT where we get appalling speeds but at least we can game together.
If Vodafone are not going to resolve this then I would also like confirmation that I can leave my contract early.

I have sent Natasha a direct message asking her to provide an update since it was escalated on the 6th March. Hopefully we will get some feedback beyond the normal "it's being looked into"

I'm in exactly the same situation as yourself. It's so frustrating. I could ditch my current broadband supplier and switch to a cheaper line rental if only Vodafone would rectify this ongoing issue.

In case anybody is interested this connection works like crap with Stadia as well even on their so called 5G.

I would assume that at least Stadia does work, even if it is crap via the Gigacube (it should be unaffected by NAT type).
