High latency - new full fibre 910

Hello,

I'm suffering from really high pings and it's making online gaming difficult. I'm new to this service and voda so if anyone could advise what is happening that would be appreciated please.

Here's my trace route to bbc and it looks like I am connected to my local DC (Leeds) but the pings to it are really high.

I think I'll be cancelling tomorrow and either trying another provider on City Fibre or seeing if Virgin want to make me an offer to stay with them.
Having looked into it, as was said in this thread, a lot of people having the same experience as us - weeks and weeks of it being great and then this. Support are of no use. Even in the bad days of Virgin Media, you could always escalate things and speak to a really expert but it seems Voda aren't bothered.

Yes me too but, cynically, it is 11pm mate. I'm just hoping they fixed it when we went down.

Ping at 7 , download over 600 and upload over 700 - hope its not just that everyone has given up and gone to bed, hopefully tomorrow night will be better ....

Another update following my 1 star reviews of City Fibre and Voda on Trusted Reviews:

Hello , thank you for your review , we are sorry to hear of your experience . The issues you are describing were outside of our full fibre network and have now been resolved. We have sent you a request via TrustPilot, could you please respond to this so that we can talk with you directly.

 

Positive feedback for once that does acknowledge the issues. Might be too soon to call but usually at this time, I see my Quality Monitor spiking and it isn't today. FINGERS CROSSED!

all good so far here but will check later around 8pm as that's when it was at its worst...

900 up, 900 down and a ping of 9 here, I would normally of been seeing gradual ping spikes up here as it rolls into 7/7:30.

real test is 8pm to 10pm. i was on 180 ping on tarkov during these times EVERY night since last weeks downtime, praying this is resolved.

8:37pm and everything is completely fine on my end. It seems this ordeal is over.
