Hello.

This problem has been occurring over the last three or four days.

Exactly every sixty minute intervals the wifi goes down for maybe up to a minute before resuming its coverage.

This is happening to smart tv, android and window computer.

Anyone experiencing the same or have a solution?

There was a very recent report of a similar thing. although that was the whole router rebooting, and not just the wi-Fi.

Appears it was resolved after the poster contacted support.

I experienced this a long time ago not with vodafone, but with an offshoot of kingston upon hull telecom of all people (!)  with an adsl router in the early days of adsl internet.

In my case it was caused by a 3600 second DHCP lease time configured as the default in a NETGEAR router provided by the ISP, so every hour i'd lose the network for a few seconds while the sluggish system gave me a new dynamic IP address

I've looked at my own Vodafone router using the Admin page at 192.168.1.1 using "expert mode / settings / local network" where i can see my dhcpv4 server setup leases the ip address "FOREVER" to the main network and would lease it for "24 hours" so this should not be the issue but you might like to take a look at your own setup to check it

HI John. Thanks for the reply. I did see that suggestion when I was googling the problem and checked the settings. It was set to forever.

I then lost an hour of my life on the Vodafone chat. Their conclusion was that I needed a booster which they are going to send me. I don't think that will work. They didn't seem to understand the loss was happening every hour to the minute. Even when I was sitting next to the router. Cheers Brian

@Newburghbrian My usual response; look in the log for something odd. If there are TR069 entries at the time of the interruption it's VF sending a remote admin command. But have a look and we might find a clue.

oh I lost more than an hour of my life to that chat, thanks to it's SLOW response time

I got a far faster response by ringing up i think it was an 0333 number ... The chap there really was trying everything to sort the issue i had out, and i think he did fix it, for about six hours 😞 but i don't think the recurrence was his fault. Good luck anyway !!
