HI,
Full fibre has been available in my street since April 2024 and I ordered the fastest available at the time and the pro package 900 mb,
Now the past month the 1.6 gbs package is now available on my street to all my neighbors via Vodafone but not me I can upgrade to 910 only with another new 24 month contract. all other providers are also showing 1.6gbs at my address.
I have contacted the broadband team by phone and via live chat and no one seems to know why or how to let me upgrade to 1.6 gbs which is strange even 1 agent tried to say capacity which I very much doubt as my area is a new install for full fibre they only upgraded the full area April this year, seems like they are trying to save the new 1.6 gb for new customers only.
Anyone have any ideas how to get this sorted
Thanks
ian

@Waseemsays has been reported for his spam post. Please, in the meantime, don't click on the dodgy link.

I just registered to come say the same thing.
I have the 910 package and the Vodafone availability checker says that is all I can have, yet my neighbours on the same telegraph pole can get 2.2gb if they wanted.
What I have also noticed is this applies to anyone on Vodafone already as there are 4-5 properties in the street that show max as 910 whereas any property without Vodafone shows the full 2.2gb.
Also of note is that City Fibre's checker says I can get 2.2gb with Vodafone and other suppliers.
I think it's down to the fact that existing ONT's might need an upgrade as they likely only do 1gb on the ethernet cable to the router.
It's really annoying as I wish to upgrade but if the checker says no the staff on the upgrade team cannot do anything.
Anyone got any ideas on how we can raise a support case?
Cheers,
Nick
