What is the model number of the most recent modem that Vodafone issue to new customers (not 4G)?

If you mean the broadband Wifi Hub, it is THG3000, or possibly THG3000g on Gfast lines. (as far as I know. Vodafone don't seem to reveal any technical info)

Depends on why he wants to know. Perhaps he just wants to know if he has the latest?

Opinions on here as to whether they are any good differ. I think they are perfectly acceptable as an ISP supplied router.
