I'm interested in getting a new internet connection, but unfortunately, we don't have access to full-fibre yet. However, I've noticed that City Fibre recently completed laying cable on our street, and I'm hopeful that it will become available in the next 2-3 months. My main question is whether I can start with an FTTC connection now and then switch to FTTP once it becomes available in a few months?

I upgraded fttc to FTTP six months into my contract without a problem. I did it on the phone with their 'sales' call centre so I think that's the best way. Experiences through the support teams or on chat vary.
Be aware the contract will start again at 0 months for 24.
