I think it depends on if you are on CityFibre or Openreach. Openreach seem to be white, CityFibre black, but no, you don't get the choice.

Thanks 😃👍

Anyone else using Vodafone FTTH with CityFibre? Been with them for a year now on their 900mbps package and works well. Only thing is the router is terrible/basic and they've even disabled the option to split SSIDs to 2.4/5Ghz for some stupid reason xvideos..?

Anyone had success using your own router in place of the one provided AND is it possible to even use your own router if you have a VOIP phone line connecting to the current Vodafone router via RJ11>RJ11?

If so, any recommendations for a new router which would support this?

You can use pretty much any router you like, you will just need to get your PPPoE credentials from Vodafone. Use live chat to do that https://www.vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd/

However, no you wont be able to get the landline working direct to the router, even if it has the VoIP facility built in, but others have managed to get the VoIP working using Grandstream ATA's.
