Any news if  Vodafone plan to release  a new wifi 6 hub soon? New BT wifi 6 hub expected July so still surprised Vodafone have not specced their hub with it. The addon extender with it is of little help.

I have no Wi-Fi6 or 6e devices. Doesn't mean I wouldn't be able to use the new router.

Why would they need to explain it to the customer, as long as it doesn't affect their current devices.

One thing to watch out for with 6e could be that as the radio frequency increases it's range and ability to penetrate walls may decrease. Also WPA3 will be the security protocol.

Don't get me started on WPA3!  Yes it's more secure - but transitional WPA2/WPA3 personal can be a pain!  So much so that while I have the ability to use WPA2/WPA3, I've dropped back to using WPA2!

*From what I can observe , the WPA issues appear to be client based, not router based, but that doesn't matter much if it doesn't work and someone is freaking out over it!

Or what you can is setup the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub and switch off the Wi-Fi 5 feature. You can turn a Wi-Fi 6 Router into access point mode
