New customer account login

Hi, signed up yesterday and customer service said my account has been activated.  I've tried several times to login but all I get is unexpected error all the time. I've seen some posts on this topic but none seem to answer the issue satisfactorily.  Please advise?

You'll not be able to login to your account until your service is activated (connected), or shortly thereafter.

Clear enough? 

Fair enough...  but why did they tell me I can?

That isn't clear!

Take much of what vf say with a pinch of salt. You did the right thing asking the forum with our greater combined knowledge.

That's because there is no satisfactory answer. It's been like that for at least 2 years, and Vodafone haven't done anything about it. despite the Mods saying they have raised it several times.

I should have checked here a few days ago... thats a few hours of my life going in endless circles with online chat I won't get back!

 

But yes, you'd think delaying sending your account login details until it's available to login would be any easy fix.  Or at least having an error message that said so when trying to login.
