I used to get 5ms ping to London (from Coventry), now I am being auto connected to Edinburugh and I get 15 ping to there, when I try to speedtest to London or even right next to me in Leicester I am getting pings above 22...I called in and they just said "they added new servers and there's nothing much we can do"...
any help?

I agree I was referring to voda to and fro with city fibre not myself personally. Not happy with my ping being higher than when on virgin cable but better than than a broadband service that only offered 50mb down at best in an evening before the routing change

Gotcha. Sorry I think I misunderstood it the first time reading it, thanks for clarifying

Yes I think contacting them on Twitter is the best among all platforms.

I'm trying to get an idea of satisfaction with latency levels and overall speed, so I have posted a simple survey on the unofficial Vodafone complaints page. This is on a Facebook page. Sorry if you don't use FB.
Vodafone FTTP connection survey.
I will post results here after a week.

Hi!
I'm from Northern Ireland and it seems I'm also being routed through Edinburgh I'm given the 90.247.128.1 gateway. For anyone interested, here's a traceroute to 1.1.1.1
Tracing route to one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms vodafone.broadband [192.168.1.1] 2 14 ms 14 ms 14 ms 90.247.128.1 3 21 ms 21 ms 21 ms 63.130.104.202 4 22 ms 26 ms 22 ms 90.255.251.37 5 22 ms 40 ms 35 ms 162.158.72.3 6 21 ms 24 ms 22 ms one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]
This does indeed fustrate me as I play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege and I'm always connected to AWS's Ireland datacenter. (eu-west-1) and I get pings up to 70ms!
This is also on Openreaches network as we don't have CityFibre over in Northern Ireland.
Hope Vodaphone sort this out ASAP.

.@DelxHQ I have just loaded Siege and it's running very slowly at the beginning while loading and when disconnecting. I blame the latest update, they've mucked it up before like this.
Build 10097611 lasted updated 08-Dec-2022.

I've seen the same, it seems to be a problem with the BQM rather than our connection because my other monitor isn't showing the same.
For a second opinion, try [Removed]

Will give that a try too because nobody in the house had mentioned any issues even when downloading massive updates for console games!!
