Do your username and password as normal and 'Apply'. Then go to  LAN>IPTV, set the first box to 'Manual Setting' and add 911 the the first 'VID' box and 'Apply'.

thanks for the reply. The VID box setting was the issue. I removed it and left it blank and clicked apply and it worked

So the Asus rt-ax82u can be used for Vodafone? Imm looking to change from virgin. I askedsupoort and they straight up said no. Have to use there router on pro fibre

Then they lied to you. You can use your asus on any of vodafone's offerings, but you'll lose easy access to their digital voice service.

Ok that's fine never used a landline anyways. Just need my login credentials and set up the router from scratch with pppoe.

It's a ##~## up between the cheapness of Vodafone

And talk talk with the supplied eero mesh I could try connecting to the Asus

It would be an openreach fttp

There is a bit of truth to that statement. If you don't use their router, it's not really PRO II. (there is no PRO anymore)

It's really only the Ultra router and it's booster and mobile backup that make it PRO II. Without them it's just overpriced standard broadband. 🤣
