Can anyone with an internet radio like one of the ocean digital ones tell me if the skytune server is working for them as since I had fiber I can't connect plus both radios won't shut down properly

@fiberfan No @Ripshod doesn't use a Vodafone router. The latest router is the Power Hub, it has a compatibility mode so  it can work like the old THG3000.(it's to do with Wi-Fi security protocols)

If you try disabling IPv6 and changing the DNS settings and let us know if it helps.

skytune.net is certainly behaving oddly, but I'm not sure if that's how the web version has always worked!

Absolutely. My Internet Radio is the Audizio Livorno and has never connected to Skytune. I am currently in contact with Skytune and they have not found a resolution but are investigating why their records does not show any attempts by my device to connect. .

This radio does however work with the embeded App which comes up on my desktop and enables editing, etc of the saved programs.

Did you ever get it working ? No go with me still annoyingly

Which router do you have? The newest routers have a compatibility function, which opens a new wifi network designed to work with older clients.

It's the THG3000. But did you get it working then with another router ?

Yes Yes, I got it working several months ago. I had some support from the manufacturer and concluded the user instructions were not very helpful. The key was to get the IP address for the internet radio a Fixed IP address. Now I can manage everything easily on my desktop. So much easier.  The default IP setting on the radio is not FIXED. Hence it was failing every other day.  Set it to Fixed and also make the IP addrress STATIC in router settings.

Not quite understanding this. I have to change IP and DNS to fixed on the radio ? If I try this I get a prompt to enter a 4 digital number ? Also no idea how to change to STATIC with the THG3000 router. Do you have the same model ?

I believe @Midori47 is saying you need a fixed local IP address, not a fixed internet IP address. (of course I could be wrong)

The value for the local IP address will be somewhere in the settings for the radio.

You can then also make it static in the router setup. (that will stop the DHCP issuing it to another device)

You would do that at Settings - Local network in the THG3000 router configuration.

So I add here the radio's MAC address and chose a 4 digital number for IPv4 for the internet radio ?static.JPG
