The replacement router from Vodafone arrived and I took the old one to the Vodafone shop in Oswestry, as per instruction on the box of the new router, but the staff were reluctant to accept it. The staff did not know anything about this new procedure.
It must be a very new policy or it just refers to faulty routers.
The Vodafone Terms-and-Conditions/returns-policies/ states "Unfortunately, you can't take a Broadband router back to any of our stores."
