Using Asus router. However telephone?

Hi guys.

I am running my own asus ac3200 router as the vodaphone lacked lots of configuration items I needed.

Question is though how can i get my phone line running through my router? Can i get a third party ethernet to voip to run? I need the land line for my elderly parents sake. 

The VF router you plug the phone in to the back on your away. Just need to know if I can get it working with this setup.

VF Gigafast network uses VOIP. Not the phone socket on the wall. So if you use the landline, then your stuck with the stock router.

Ah right thanks for that. VF gigafast isn’t out where I live yet. Hopefully not long as I’ve dropped from 500meg VM to 60meg VF
